EGEDENEVE PHILOSOPHY
Egedeneve is a women-led artisan business based in the Edremit and Kazdağları region of Türkiye, an area deeply connected with olive cultivation and traditional woodworking craftsmanship.
We primarily work with olive wood obtained from pruning, giving this valuable natural material a new and long-lasting purpose while respecting the natural life cycle of olive trees.
Our products are handcrafted in small batches, combining traditional woodworking skills with appropriate modern production techniques.
Every olive tree develops its own grain patterns, colors, knots, textures, and natural markings. Rather than artificially standardizing these characteristics, we preserve them as part of the individual identity of each product.
We believe meaningful objects deserve to be made with care and appreciated for years.
Our Personalized Recipe Cutting Board reflects this philosophy by bringing together natural olive wood, traditional craftsmanship, and the personal stories behind cherished family recipes.
