From the Aegean to Your Home

Egedeneve began with a simple idea: to share the natural products of Turkey’s Aegean region with homes across the country. Our name carries that original purpose: “from the Aegean to your home.”

Our journey started with olives and olive oil in 2011. In 2015, our connection with the olive tree took a new form when we began working with its wood. What started as an online food store grew into a brand that designs, makes and shares wooden objects with customers around the world.

Founded as a woman-led venture, Egedeneve brings local materials and craftsmanship into contemporary life.

Our Materials, Our Craft

Olive wood is at the heart of our work. We know its strength, expressive grain and the individual character of each piece. We also work with other wood species, choosing materials to suit the purpose and design of each product.

In our workshop in Edremit, traditional woodworking and hand finishing come together with CNC and laser technology. Our range extends from kitchen and serving pieces to home décor, personal accessories and custom gifts.

Stories That Shape Our Collections

The mythology of Mount Ida and the surrounding region inspires our collection names and design language.

Hector, Aeneas, Helene and Zeus are among the names that connect our work to this landscape and its stories. Through different forms and proportions, our collections give each material a distinctive expression.

Finding Value in Every Piece

Sustainability guides how we source, make and care for our products.

We work with local olive growers and use branches recovered from pruning, turning material from the care of olive groves into lasting objects. Our production processes generate no chemical waste, and we work to use as much of the wood as possible. Even the sawdust left from production becomes pellet cat litter.

Making thoughtful use of local resources is part of our responsibility to the place where we work.

We choose to make objects people can use and cherish for years.

Their value includes the tree they came from, the hands that shaped them and the memories they gather. Many wooden pieces can be refreshed through sanding and re-oiling, helping extend their useful lives.

A name, date or personal message can make them more meaningful still.
